About the job

We are looking for an exceptional Online Marketing Coordinator to join a dynamic and fast paced marketing team based out of our Burnaby office to develop, maintain, improve and manage all online marketing, website, and e-commerce initiatives.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the successful candidate’s duties include:

  • Develop effective online techniques and strategies to raise Day4 brand awareness in key demographics using:
    • Call to action marketing
    • Search engine optimization
    • Online advertising
    • Social media initiatives; and
    • E-Newsletter
  • Improve natural rankings to increase targeted traffic, and improve lead conversions to further site ROI
  • Manage online advertising programs including pay-per-click and banner ads
  • Research, develop and maintain social media strategies and tactics including blogs, forums, RSS
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing efforts and improve performance of website by analyzing traffic and funnels on an ongoing basis
  • Assist in evolvement of websites’ information architecture and navigation, coordinate copy and graphics with marketing team
  • Work with team to coordinate integration of website with back-end systems such as CRM and sales lead management
  • Assist in evolvement of websites’ information architecture and navigation, coordinate copy and graphics with marketing team
  • Research and develop best practices
  • Perform other duties or special projects as the need arises

This successful candidate will play an active role in helping us establish a leading brand within the alternative energy sector. The right candidate will have the opportunity to obtain a broad range of marketing experience working in a global, publicly listed company.

About you

You have relevant experience and a passionate for the latest online marketing tactics that get results including SEO, SEM, social media and e-commerce. You must have both a business understanding of what drives online sales and be able to implement your marketing ideas. You bring a strong background in online marketing, search engine optimization and web content development, including the identification of opportunities, developing strategies and using tools to track and analyze campaigns.

Your interpersonal skills are stellar, and you have a natural ability to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Solid organizational and time management skills are a given, and you are able to balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You are a student in Marketing, Business, or related discipline. Experience in alternative energy or clean-tech would be great, but it is not required.
